Darin and Teresa founded Athletic Threads in 1987 with two sewing machines in the back of a house making athletic bags and baseball pants. The company has come a long way since then and now makes most types of sports uniforms and employs many types of garment enhancement: full dye sublimation, screen printing, direct to garment, heat transfer, embroidery and more. Our loyal customer base continues to rapidly grow despite employing very little marketing or advertising.

Over the years, Athletic Threads has filled many different types of orders including uniform orders for the 2001 USA Olympic Women’s Softball team, Basketball uniforms for a motion picture, college sports uniforms and a multitude of orders for school districts and sports organizations.
